WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT OUR MARTIAL ARTS SCHOOL? 

With Dragon Kido's private/semi-private lessons, academy members get the best of both worlds-- personalized training by rank and smaller class size, meaning more material will be covered in greater depth in a shorter span of time.  In fact, individualized coaching often accelerates skill development, and our facilities are well-stocked with martial arts equipment:  tactical mats, stationary & hanging bags, focus paddles, body shields and blockers,  as well as mirrored walls for immediate technique feedback.  Our academy's focus on quality over quantity and use of a reservation system ensures that our Black Belt Masters facilitate each and every student's steady progress on the physical, mental and spiritual levels.

DKAMA's vibe is friendly and energetic, supportive and professional.  Kids excitedly look forward to their martial arts training and they are empowered to show respect and demonstrate self-discipline.  Beyond martial arts instruction and practice, competitive contact activities, including sparring matches and tournaments are an integral component of our curriculum. Additional training opportunities, such as exciting group outdoor classes like Solidarity Sundays & Weapons in the Wild Workshops, or Zoom virtual martial arts sessions, instructional videos, supplementary written materials and fun craft and website trivia activities are periodically available too.  Our members also enthusiastically participate in a wide variety of fun social activities together, both in and out of the dojang.  Information about upcoming academy extracurriculars is regularly posted on our Events page inviting all students and welcoming their families to attend.
